End of 3Q Open Thread

Tonight’s the crucial third quarter fundraising deadline for House and Senate candidates across the country. If you’re thinking about donating to a candidate, now would be a good time to haul ass over to ActBlue and drop some scrilla.

Whom did you donate to this quarter?

  1. to the fierce goddesses that are Jeanne Shaheen and Carol Shea-Porter.

And just wait till Mr. 70% approval John Lynch takes on Judd in two years. We might have a 100% Massachusetts-style Dem delegation.

  2. But I donated to Barack Obama a couple of times.

I also donated to Hillary Clinton as a show of unity after her speech during the covention.

Jason Adams, a candidate for the Georgia State House.

  3. I finally gave a little today. (I’d been unemployed since last October).

    28.00 Debbie Cook

15.00 Scott Kleeb only because he looks great in a cowboy hat

    10.00 Besty Markey… I’ll show you #1 issue….

    15.00 Barack Obama.

Its not a lot, but its more than most people give.

  4. Judy Baker and Dennis Shulman earlier today over at 02B at Kos to help get them over the $20K mark. Plus NW homeboy and homegirl Jeff Merkley and Darcy Burner. Also, Ms. Crisitunity has been relentless in giving to Obama.

  5. President

$100 to Obama (free t-shirt, car magnet, & yard sign!)

    Senate: $100

    $20 – Hagan (NC-Sen)

    $20 – Begich (AK-Sen)

    $20 – Merkley (OR-Sen)

    $20 – Franken (MN-Sen)

    $20 – Musgrove (MS_B-Sen)

    House

    $100 – Gary Peters (MI-09 against Knollenberg)

    Propositions

CA: $100 to NoOnProp8-Limit on Marriage Amendment

FL: $50 to VoteNoOnProp2-Same-sex marriage ban

  6. I maxed out to Frank Kratovil (MD-1) and Scott Kleeb (NE-Sen) and gave several hundred to Jim Slattery (KS-Sen) last quarter.  This quarter I gave another $100 to Slattery and I just gave $200 to Jim Martin (GA-Sen).  Earlier this give quarter I gave several hundred to Obama because I wanted him to have the resources to be able to run a 50 state campaign.  I also gave some money to Darcy Burner (WA-8) after her house burned down.

I also gave $200 to the Alaska Democratic Party so they would have the money to get the local perspective out on Gov. Palin.

  7. How weird is it that I’m jealous that you guys can donate and I cant?  You know, I just got my student loan refund check, I should use some of that for some good candidates.  The beauty of that is, my parents are paying for my school so they’d essentially be donating to candidates and they’re Republicans!
